No, but as part of our terms and conditions, any radio stations joining UKRP will be contractually required to agree to operate their radio service in accordance with OfCom’s Broadcast Code.

UKRP has an legal and ethical obligation to ensure that its listening audience is protected from harm or misinformation. The OfCom Broadcast Code covers:
- Protecting the under-eighteens
- Harm and offence
- Crime, disorder, hatred and abuse
- Religion
- Due impartiality and due accuracy
- Elections and referendums
- Fairness
- Privacy
Any radio stations found to be in breach of the OfCom Broadcast Code will immediately be removed from the UK Radio Portal.
